Furniture Doors

Sonnet, a new cabinet door style, comes in maple and cherry and features traditional styling. The door has applied molding and a raised center panel to create a deeply carved look and the feeling of furniture.

Cabinet frames are constructed from kiln-dried solid hardwood, and wall cabinets can come with the interior color matching the exterior color. Several finish colors and a variety of decorative accents are available.

Paired with a lighter finish such as sandstone, Sonnet echoes the look of a European country kitchen; with a darker finish like cherry burgundy, the cabinets exude a more formal feel, the maker says. www.qualitycabinets.com.

Crystal Chameleon

EGlass windows, doors, and skylights electronically tint to provide shade and privacy. Homeowners can control tint darkness with switches, remote controls, and an interface for popular home automation systems. Windows come in wood and aluminum in a variety of shapes and configurations.

The glass comes in blue and white tints. LCGlass changes from clear to frosted white, allowing for glare and privacy control, and SPDSmartGlass has a changing blue tint that can fine tune the amount of sun passing through the glass. Windows can come with sensors that control tint based on the time of day, indoor and outdoor temperature, and the sun's position.
