Epson released five projectors that offer advanced capabilities and 3LCD technology for use in large auditoriums, university classrooms, or conference rooms. They include two additions to the PowerLite series and three to Epson's PowerLite Pro series.

The PowerLite Pro G5150NL and G5350NL offer XGA resolution with 4000 and 5000 lumens respectively. The PowerLite Pro G5200WNL offers 4200 lumens and delivers WXGA resolution. The PowerLite 6110i and 1825 projectors both have XGA resolution and 3500 lumens. All five models feature 3-chip 3LCD High Aperture panels for sharp images.

Company officials said the class of projectors is built on a concept platform of the latest projection technology, improved reliability, and flexibility. It's also designed to provide a low total cost of ownership by reducing maintenance frequency.

"The PowerLite Pro series builds upon the highly regarded and established Epson PowerLite series by introducing projectors with the superior performance, features, and support that is expected by professionals in the installation and vertical markets," said Daniel Oey, group product manager, Epson America. "This class of Epson projector is engineered and designed to meet the quality, reliability, precision control, and low cost of ownership that professionals expect for easier integration into demanding environments."

These projectors intend to offer installers and integrators the versatility and performance necessary for a wide range of venues and facilities. The PowerLite Pro series XGA models and PowerLite 1825 projector are wireless capable and enable IT managers to monitor the status of installed projectors remotely and perform key control functions. The PowerLite 1825 and PowerLite Pro G5150NL and G5350NL support the network projector functionality found in Windows Vista.
