Signs of Pregnancy

You might be pregnant and you want to know what the signs of pregnancy are, well you aren't alone, and the first place that you should start is with a home pregnancy test. Pregnancy test kits are fairly inexpensive and can be purchased at any pharmacy. And here are a few other signs or symptoms that if you are experiencing them they may be indicative of pregnancy.

Some symptoms

• Fatigue - you are tired all the time and all you want to do is sleep.

• Sore breasts - your breasts are tender to the touch, even wearing a bra hurts.

• You're sick in the morning, although some women experience nausea and vomiting all day long, it is the most common symptom that woman complain about during pregnancy.

• You're bloated.

• You're in the bathroom urinating every time you turn around.

• You've missed your period.

• Can't control your emotions - everything makes you cry.

Some other signs that may indicate that you are pregnant are weight gain; vaginal secretions, some foods and/or smells just make you gag. You used to love pasta, but now the smell makes you run to the bathroom to vomit. The symptoms can vary from woman to woman so there is no guarantee that you will or won't experience one symptom vs. another.

If you are showing signs of pregnancy then you should not smoke or drink alcohol because these substances can impair the growth and development of your baby.

If you think you're pregnant

• Make an appointment with your obstetrician

• You will need to begin taking a prenatal vitamin

• Adjust your diet accordingly - your doctor will have recommendations and suggestions

Signs of pregnancy can also mimic signs of your monthly period. So if you have signs and suspect that you are pregnant, the best thing to do is schedule an appoint with your doctor to verify that you are indeed pregnant.
